Project Description

SCOPE OF SERVICES

Completed the design of Construction Documents for a removable natural turf playing field system. The field was required to be designed with the stadium floor surface drain to be design to accommodate both natural turf per the NFL players safety and slope requirements and the multi-use hard surface for other programming venues and events year round. The stadium programming was proposed to host a various number of other venues and events other than football and rodeos. The programming also includes: Rock Concerts, Monster Truck and several other events.

The major design challenge was developing a removable natural turf playing field tray system that was multi-use related, low maintenance cost and is extremely flexible to handle any possible programming events in the future. The most critical design requirement for this field was providing a safe playing field condition when being use by the National Football League.
