HISTORY

Washington Nationals Ball Park: was the nation’s first major professional stadium to become LEED SILVER Certified by the U.S. Green Building Council. The project incorporates a variety of sustainable design elements.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

To design a state-of-the-art surface and sub-surface drainage collection system for the stadium baseball field. The main ballpark stadium playing field is a natural turf playing field surface. The surface grading of the playing field was designed to meet the MLB standards. The master under drain collection systems (featuring over 14,000 feet of pipe) that makes the field playable one (1) hour after taking 2 inches of rain. The master irrigation system and associated written specifications.
