HISTORY

To design and a state-of-the-art Multi-Use sports complex located at the existing Butler Park. This community park current contains one large multi-use field, one full size baseball field, and two little league fields and adjoining concession, restrooms and maintenance operation structure.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

FTE was selected as the prime to create a proposed master sports complex that will provide a multi-use attraction for various athletic events on a single property. The design requirements must incorporate all of the required improvements necessary to meet varies community user’s needs. The programming currently being considered: two multi-Use fields, fixed seating, one full size baseball field, one little league field. The multi-use fields will be designed to incorporate soccer, and football, and lacrosse, and two little league practice fields and provides for flexible outdoor community us. The master plan will provide a facility concession building, restrooms, batting cage, maintenance building, sports lighting, and paved parking. In addition, the City of North Port would like to consider the use of “Natural turf vs. Synthetic” turf options.
